The 5th World Congress of Latvian Scientists "Research Latvia" occurred in Riga from 27 to 29 June 2023. The aim of the Congress was to provide an opportunity to exchange views on current scientific intricacies, to establish and strengthen contacts of Latvian scientists with scientists of Latvian origin from different countries, as well as to draw the attention of the public, media, and politicians to the importance of Latvian science and the performance of scientists.
Within the framework of the Congress, scientists published an informative material "The 5th World Congress of Latvian Scientists “Research Latvia”: State of The Art". In addition, after the congress, the Scientific Committee developed policy recommendations based on the conclusions expressed during the congress. These recommendations are available in "White paper: Policy recommendations".
